Padova Paradise

We knew when we arrived that we were going to love this place!! Our train ride took us through Milano and we arrived in Padova (or Padua) in the early afternoon. Stepping off the train, the heat hit us. Quite a change from the Alps but no worries we have AC. I planned it that way!! Isabella, the owner, arrived on her bike to let us in the appartmento Isabella. Such a warm lady whose daughter is getting married tomorrow. My mom says I find the cutest places to stay and you can add this one to the list. Very spacious, white leather couches, antique wardrobes and dressers and original pieces of art by Isabella.

We had a quick walk around and I already managed to buy a pair of shoes.

So cute. So many shoe stores. Stopped at the grocery store and bought a few things. Very delicious tomatoes and fixing for a salad. There were not a lot of veggies in Switzerland so that is what we were craving. Maybe pizza for supper and more exploring of Padova. Ciao.

Of course, we've already had gelato- limone, fragola and lampone (lemon,strawberry and raspberry). First one was for you Jordan!!
